Greyfriars Motel is a brand new cottage style motel in the heart of Greytowns Heritage area ,set back from the road in a peaceful garden setting.

Furnished in contemporary style to give a point of difference.
All units have either king or queen size bed, kitchenette with microwave , fridge
and tea and coffee making facilities ,an ensuite bathroom ,32`` flat screen TV ,double glazed windows and doors,and a covered deck area with outdoor seating.
Some units have heater and fan ,while the larger units have airconditioning . .

We are an easy stroll to the boutique,art and antique shops, cafes and the well know Wakelin House, Salute, Whiteswan and Cuckoo for dining .

The wine areas of Martinborough and Gladstone are 10 minutes away, Clareville Showgrounds and Tauherenikau Racecourse also within 10 minutes and Masterton 20 minutes North and Wellington 1 hour to the South .

  • It was fine. Hostess friendly. Room fresh. I always find motels that don't have a separate basin in the kitchen part, rather difficult, as you have to fill the kettle in the bathroom basin. However it is manageable. 5

  • Fantastic place to stay in the middle of greytown. Moteliers were both welcoming and helpful plus very friendly and easy to talk to. Units almost brand new with quality fittings and extremely comfortable. 2 minutes walk to restaurants, cafés and pub.would definitely stay here again. 5
